Let's play!

Rules

Everyone can play with the Biomimicards. Do not hesitate to play with collegues, providers or customers, it will enrich your workshop. The experience is ideal with 4 to 6 participants.

Define a challenge

- 1 -

To co-create something relevant, you must define your initial challenge. This can be a dream, a vision or a wish, be audacious!
For example, we could imagine a team to work on a water treatment plan project : how could we build self cleaning pipe?

Distribute the cards

- 2 -

Distribute some cards by chance to the participants. You can show the face of the cards or not. However, the purpose of the cards is to generate many interactions and generate ideas, so participants mustn't hesitate to interact.

Discover the cards

- 3 -

The Biomimicards are very interesting to discover how Nature has been relevant for 3.8 billion years, they will also help you to have great interactions between the participants. You probably can't imagine how interesting it will be to know the different points of view on a same situation.
Take pens and post-it and write down all the ideas, all of them can be useful, linked and enriched with a new one. Do not use all the cards in the same time, indeed, act like Nature does, use only what you need. Each card has several useful points and informations.
When there are less interactions, give some new cards. Maybe a participant will have a joker, it will very probably offer new ideas in this flow.

Co-create

- 4 -

You're about to reach the most exciting part. Once you have all the ideas, you can start to prototype or draw your answer to the challenge. You can even use Legos or anything you want to create this prototype.
Once you have this first prototype, do not hesitate to show it to potential users. It can be interesting as well to go with the prototype to the place it is suppose to be used (shop, house, factory...).
